Planning TV Schedule from Berlin Airport Hotel
I work as a TV critic, I am on prime time television myself and give people watching an overview on the evenings TV listings. To enable me to do my job to the highest standard I have to pre-watch the programmes in order to be eligible to give comments on them. My comments are simply my own opinions, often people disagree with what I have said about a certain television programme.
So I have just finished a two week holiday travelling around Europe, and I am due in the television studio tomorrow to do my job. I am at present sat in Berlin Adlershof in the Hotel Berlin, which is literally a stones throw from the airport. I am due to travel at 6am in the morning so I will watch the television programmes, then write my review on them, then hopefully about 10pm tonight I will retire for the night.
The first programmes on my list are the soaps, my Eastenders and Coronation Street reviews are usually the ones that people tune in for, to see if they can get a taster of what is going to happen before they tune in for the episode that evening.
I move swiftly on the ‘wire in the blood’, this is sometimes creepy to watch so I make sure I watch this before the sky goes dark. This weeks episode is a real good one to watch and to review. Its about a series of murders which have to be solved and a psychologist is brought in to help the police trace the person responsible.
After reviewing ‘wire in the blood’ I decide to take a break for half an hour, to enjoy the magnificent view of Berlin from my hotels balcony, the Hotel Berlin. The view from the balcony looked over the city of Berlin in one direction, and to the other side had a brilliant view of the airport and a Car Insurance. So I sat and watched the planes land and take off for half an hour whilst enjoying a cool gin and tonic.
After I went back to review ‘Ultimate Force’ which is an army drama with Ross Kemp in it, and then I reviewed the film ‘East is East’, the film was absolutely hilarious, with its funny quips, really worth watching.
The next day at 6am I board my plane, knowing that I have already done my TV schedule I can relax and enjoy my in flight meal. I turn up at the TV studios to film my part for part of a morning breakfast show. I give the viewers the run down of my television schedule, and state which programmes I think are the best and worst of the nights line up.
During the break I tell all of my colleagues about my fabulous trip to Europe, and about all of the great places that I have seen whilst away. I do not fail to mention my last destination which Berlin Adlershof where I stayed overnight at the Hotel Berlin, and enjoyed stunning views not only at Berlin the city, but also over the cities airport.
